The aim of this course is to develop a critical understanding of Revenue Management techniques and how to apply them in your business.
Participants will learn how to understand their market, gain an understanding of how to segment their business and explore tactics that can be implemented to increase revenues.
Modules will include:
Pricing by segment – Participating in this workshop will assist them to understand how price is impacted by variations in the business mix of their hotel and channel costs. They will learn how to put together a rational pricing model that will protect and enhance revenue streams.
Demand Forecast and Analysis – They will learn how to understand basic forecasting processes and the importance of accurate forecasting. They will also examine the importance of their role in making informed future decisions and to identify techniques to measure future demands and how to make price decision accordingly.
Group Pricing and Management – They will examine how to create a group pricing structure and how to ensure that a group sales team can use this pricing structure effectively.
Measuring Performance – Participants will extend their knowledge with regard to the key Revenue Performance Indicators (KPI’s) within the industry and how to improve decision making by using market intelligence and benchmarking tools.
